In my earliest recollections, I'm posing for my parents as they photograph me smiling for their camera. Then later, as a gradeschooler, I was in my father's darkroom practicing at enlarging those same images. My own personal photos mean so much to me. I want to bring to others those same feelings; not a cold portrait, but an informal image capturing who that person is or what that place means.

I was privileged to capture Ann and Chris experiencing their perfect all-we-need-is-each-other sort of day. Witnessed by their favorite people, on their family’s property, everything they could want was right there. Beautiful flowers created by Boise At It's Best.
It was a perfect wedding day when lovely Katie married Jess. Everyone involved was so happy and excited, and naturally that means I was excited to be there too! Katie’s the sort of bride who smiled all day; she smiled at Jess, she smiled with her friends, and smiled for me. Bonus- she was a natural at posing. Once a bride gets over the initial jitters, I think it’s key to just be yourself, relax, and yet be aware of the camera. Their wedding day just flew by, but Katie and Jess have their happy memories to reflect on…and their beautiful rings…and yep, the photographs. Planning was done by Soiree Weddings and Events and reception was at Boise Art Museum. Pretty flowers by Hope Blooms.
