In my earliest recollections, I'm posing for my parents as they photograph me smiling for their camera. Then later, as a gradeschooler, I was in my father's darkroom practicing at enlarging those same images. My own personal photos mean so much to me. I want to bring to others those same feelings; not a cold portrait, but an informal image capturing who that person is or what that place means.

Colie-Girl is all grown up. One minute she’s in her mom’s kitchen, singing to me while eating raisens out of a tiny box, then blink- she’s graduating high school. Nicole’s just an all-around great person: super smile-y, smart, driven tennis player, animal-lover, notorious prankster, and dare devil. : )
Congratulations to Nicci and Dennis on the arrival of their new baby girl this week! I photographed their wedding (look back on 10-26-09) and earlier this summer we got together to document the special "expecting" time in their lives. These are a few of my favorites.
