portraits: a few from 2010 {boise wedding photographer}

Today, while I was transferring and storing some images from last year, I discovered a bunch of portrait shots I really liked and hadn’t posted. Most are graduating seniors and some are of exotic Ayesha.

portraits: katie's siblings {boise wedding photographer}

Katie’s planning a wedding for mid summer. I get to be there and capture the experience of her big day and I’m really looking forward to that. Before her own wedding (and her brother’s later this year) Katie’s mother wanted portraits taken of the siblings as a gift for her husband. (don't tell...it’s a surprise) You may not be able to see it, but it’s actually slightly raining while we’re photographing. And these are some of my favorite images.

holga in vegas {boise wedding photographer}

I met the shy, unassuming Holga camera a handful of years ago. Loved that I could load it with 120 roll film, and then be pleasantly surprised with what comes out of it. Holga’s retro/vintage images and vignetting captured my heart and it’s been in my little camera family ever since.

I’m a bit of a hybrid photographer and take film cameras or my Holga with me to some of my weddings. Recently I took it along to Vegas (baby) to the huge WPPI photographer’s convention. I’m a sucker for a trade show and the 350 booths all about photography were callin' my name!

If you love film, be friends with a Holga. Here are a few Vegas images that I liked the best…. (ran across a Herrera bridal shop and had to shoot that!)
