engaged! jen and eric {boise wedding photographer}

Jen and Eric wanted a natural, outdoor feel mixed in to their session, and fall is usually a gorgeous time to photograph outside. Even if it’s a weird-weather day, really only a couple of hours are needed to snap some great shots. An overcast day, in fact, can be the best light for photography. Rain though….not so much. Luckily we caught some romantic images showing just how photogenic Jen and Eric are…before we were chased back into our cars by a rain storm.

I’m excited to photograph them next summer when they seal the deal. Something tells me they’ll make a picture-perfect couple in their fancy wedding garb.

katie and dave featured on Style Me Pretty {boise wedding photographer}

Today images from the Idaho summer nuptials of Katie and Dave are on the uber popular wedding blog Style Me Pretty!

I have more images here showing how this bride took her vision and her talent and let it loose on creating one of the most personal events I’ve seen. Katie designed this vintage luxe wedding via clever thrift-store hunting, hand-made touches, and crafting her own fabric adornments. Sweet fabric flowers appeared in the bridesmaids’ hair, as cocktail rings and even the boutonnieres were lovingly made with guitar strings, as a nod to her musician husband.
