engaged! kyle and megan

Megan is one of the most organized brides I've met. When we first started discussing photography last January, she was well into planning her wedding for late summer of 2009. She said whe wanted all of her first choices when it came to her big day. Gotta love that!

Kyle and Megan's engagement session was fun and easy..... despite a triple "jinx" threat of a nosebleed (Kyle's) a coughing-fit spaz (mine) and a misbehaving camera lens (it had to sit in time-out!)

real weddings: jamie and kerri

I was invited to contribute two unique Idaho weddings to be featured on the wedding resource blog,  Elizabeth Anne Designs. This site is a great place to read comments and ideas from brides from different states plus find answers to questions from wedding vendors. To see the two featured weddings, take a look at Real Wedding: Jamie and Kerri (posted Sept 23) and also Real Wedding: Micah and Jenny (posted Sept 17.)

You'll find other useful info like what to wear on the wedding day, ideas for favors and color palettes. Plus, browse their enormous list of blog sites to help plan a wedding under "Blog Love." What a great resource!

newly wed: dave and margot

This was such a beautiful event and so much fun to photograph! I love to watch a new couple's life begin with a great wedding day- lots of details and personal touches that show just how unique they are. I especially loved the chandelier earrings and the flower sash on Margot's dress. I'm still working on their wedding images but these are some of the first ones that I wanted to share.
Great vendors helped make their day just right: Soiree Wedding and Event Planning,
Bliss Event Decorating, Greg Marsh Designer Cakes, and the Powerhouse. The couple are off on their honeymoon- a safari in Tanzania, Africa. (they're in for some honeymoon adventure!!)
Turns out...Dave and Margot met through an on-line service and discovered they're employed by the same company working in the same building! See...you just never know!
